This is only okay. The recipes audio fine enough, just it suffers from a lack of two rather import things: pictures, and detailed information. Since the Instant Pot (IP) is an internet sensation, and there are all sorts of websites and blogs with glossy pics of delicious IP creations, the expectation is that this would accept some nice pics of finished recipes as well. It does non. When people are trying out something new (a recipe) with a new-to-this-generation equipment (jazzy electronic pressure level This is but okay. The recipes sound fine enough, simply it suffers from a lack of two rather import things: pictures, and detailed information. Since the Instant Pot (IP) is an internet sensation, and there are all sorts of websites and blogs with glossy pics of succulent IP creations, the expectation is that this would have some nice pics of finished recipes every bit well. Information technology does not. When people are trying out something new (a recipe) with a new-to-this-generation equipment (jazzy electronic force per unit area cooker), pictures are of import! I desire to know if I'g making this correctly; if it looks similar it should.

Secondly, there needed to exist clearer directions. For instance, I brand yogurt in my IP all the time--it'south fabulous for that. But if you followed Hathaway's instructions, you lot'd likely end up with a watery not-yogurt mess on your hands. Things like the *temperature* of the milk, both before boiling and earlier the starter is added is of import. How much (or lilliputian) starter you use affects the outcome, every bit does the cooking fourth dimension (a half-dozen-12 hr window with no explanation of what the extended time volition practice?! Come up on!).

I don't recommend this book. There are better ones out at that place.

This book boasts 101 recipes, but I merely found 2 that I am interested in trying. I likewise institute the pictures uninspiring. Better quality, colorful photographs would inspire me to try more recipes.

Good recipes; bad format

Having simply purchased an Insta-Pot, I thought it might exist nice to accept a cookbook to keep with it. I chose this one and now I regret it. The recipes are pretty good, if a tad basic (which is what I was looking for). Too many cookbooks had weird food combos that I knew my meat-and-potatoes hubby wouldn't swallow. This one has simple fare that can exist tweaked to our tastes.

The problem is the format. The font is small and blurry, and information technology will not enlarge on my Kindle HDX. Wha

The trouble is the format. The font is small-scale and blurry, and it will not overstate on my Kindle HDX. What you meet is what you get... menstruation. No font changes, zooming, etc. Ugh, information technology is a pain to read at best, and a deal-billow for me. I will exist purchasing a unlike cookbook for my appliance and relegating this one to the "oh well, I learned a lesson" pile.

Decent collection of recipes

This is a decent starter drove of recipes. Break out of the basic soups and stews and try something new. There are no pictures, and no nutrition information.
